Hello everyone! We have a new and fun video to share with you! Samantha and Annie are going to show you some of our favorite patterns, notions and embellishments for bags and bag making. We hope you love the items as much as we do!

The Violet Backpack from Knot and Thread

Let's kick things off with this adorable backpack from Knot and Thread Designs. They offer a ton of cute bag patterns, but we're currently obsessed with the Violet Backpack. We made ours using the new Snack Shack line by Crystal Manning—it's such a perfect and cute fit for this project.

Definitely check out the entire array of Knot and Thread patterns. We also love love love the Patchwork Duffle (and mini version) are wonderful makes…a few members of our team have made their very own!

Noodle Head Patterns

Next up, let’s chat Noodlehead! We recently had some lovely samples made of both The Makers Tote and The Sandhill Sling! We are excited to share both of them!

The Makers Tote

The Makers Tote is just lovely. It's really spacious with plenty of pockets inside, making it both practical and stylish. We used fabric from Lizzie House’s new Love Letter collection for our sample! Annie got a chance to interview Lizzie on her return to fabric and it was such a fun conversation, we are so glad she is back and partnering with Moda! Love Letter fabric IN STORES January 2025. The swan zipper pull from Cathe Holden's brand-new Sable and Swan collection happens to match this fabric, so we couldn't resist adding it.

Sandhill Sling by Noodlehead

Another Noodlehead pattern we love is the Sandhill Sling. It can be worn as a regular backpack or as a crossbody fanny pack. We've paired it with the new Stitch Supply webbing, and it's just adorable.

Zipper Pulls Galore!

Speaking of exciting, let's talk zipper charms! We have so many amazing artists creating these adorable zipper charms we just had to feature them in a big way in our video.

Cathe Holden Zipper Charms

Cathe Holden also has a line of SewMod zipper pulls that are so colorful and fun, perfect for adding a bit of bling to any project. There are also several adorable characters and designs, even some patriotic themes. There is a wide range that covers almost any interest out there and your customers will just love them!

Sweetfire Road Zipper Charms

Last but not least, if you're a fan of Sweetfire Road, you'll love the new zipper charms that pair with the Enchantment collection. They have soft pinks and off-whites that match beautifully with many collections, including holiday releases like Kitty Christmas and Robin's Winterly collection.

Stitch Supply Webbing and Zippers

We're also super excited about the brand-new Stitch Supply webbing. It's gorgeous and works really well with bold lines. We made a sample using the Maeve Collection by Crystal Manning, and it looks fantastic. Maeve fabric in stores October, webbing in stores now! This webbing is a must-have for any sewing room. It pairs beautifully with almost any Ruby Star Society as well!

We just love Stitch Supply's new zippers as well! They have that black and white mixed with bright color feel we just love! They will work wonderfully is so many projects!

Sassafras Lane Bags and Hardware

One of our popular picks is the Sweet Pea Sling by Sassafras. The best part? Sassafras offers coordinating hardware kits, making it super easy to get everything you need for a project in one go. These are perfect for kitting up or even for running a class in your shop!

There are many gorgeous and practical designs–we can’t recommend them enough!

All Things Zakka Workshop

We can't forget about the Zocker Workshop Kits! These kits come with a well written pattern and the hardware to completely the project! Just add fabric and you have another kit or class option for your shop!

One of our favorites is the Stylish Sewing Caddy and Stylish Sewing Tote with the wire mouth that opens wide—it's like a little whale ready to suck up all your sewing supplies and fabrics to take with you on the go! Juicy by Melody Miller is just one of the fabric collection used here. We wont be able to make just one!

The Zipper Pouch Book

For those who love zipper pouches, we highly recommend Zakka Workshop’s Zipper Pouch Book. It comes with zippers and patterns, plus loads of inspiration for creating your own cute pouches.

SewLux Pouches

Our very popular Solux pouches are another hit for shops. You can offer a Pourch Club and corresponding kits to keep the fun going all year long.

The Ziggy Pouch, paired with a new blingy zipper charm from Robin Pickens' Serena Shores line, is a favorite. We also love the Candy Cutie Pouch, which we made using Lizzie House's collection.

There are so many incredible zipper pouch patterns by SewLux. There are lots with themes for seasons and holidays so be sure to check out the entire range!

Mini Heartstring Bag

This project, designed by Branch and Blume uses mini charms, making it a great idea for a class or in-store make and take. Isn’t it just precious? We love it in Lella Boutique’s new Love Blooms group!

Stacy Iest Hsu - Back to School

Perfect for back-to-school, Stacy has dazzled us with a new range of zipper pulls, project panels, patterns, ribbons and coordinating fabrics with her Back to School collection. Imagine all the fun you could have with such a cohesive group. The possibilities are endless and we love them all!

The Pencil Me In Pouch from SewLux also  pairs perfectly with Stacy's new line.

We had so much fun sharing these items with you, and we can't wait to bring you more in the future. This is just a few of the bag and tote vendors we love and hope to do some videos featuring, but in the mean time also check out
