Materials Needed:

• 2/3 yard Background
• 1/4 yard Binding
• 5/8 yard Backing
• Woven Stars Table Runner Pattern # BNB2330

Paper and PDF patterns are available in our shop at Sew Lux Fabric or ask your local quilt shop to carry the paper pattern and kit one up for you! 

The original version of this project was made using Christmas Eve by Lella Boutique. For this remix, we're showing you how it looks in American Gatherings 3 by Primitive Gatherings, which is shipping to shops now. Check out the other mock ups I have to share at the end of this post, too. 

This runner is made up of two blocks - stars and small four-patch units. 

When choosing the prints for the stars, be sure to pull a variety to really let them shine.

Once you have the blocks made, follow the pattern to add background pieces to the four-patch units to create the sashing for the star blocks.

Follow the directions and diagrams in the pattern for piecing the stars and sashing together. 

I love that it looks great in the original Christmas collection as well as Patriotic, too. I have included a couple of mock ups in other new collections arriving in shops soon from In the Wild Honey by Lella Boutique and Blueprint by Camille Roskelley.

If your local shop is carrying one of these collections, ask them to kit one up for you or help you select prints from another collection that catches your eye!
