Textile Design Job Opportunity
We are looking for a creative individual to join our fabric design team! This person would be directly involved in the development of our fabric collections collaborating with designers and the mills to oversee the print process from inception to end product. The ideal candidate is a determined and progressive individual who is aware of current trends, has excellent verbal and written communication skills to excel in a dynamic environment.
Candidate must be fully proficient with the skills and understanding of the following, including but not limited to: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Creative Suite, Microsoft Office. Prior experience working on a wide range of design functions including textile repeats, screen separations, color matching, communications, creative brainstorming, product development and project management skills are required. Knowledge or experience with the quilting industry is a plus.
This is not a position for a designer looking to create their own designs. This is a collaborative position helping our designers create and produce the most beautiful and marketable fabric collections from their art as a team.

Responsibilities
• This position is on premise and we are not looking for remote work.
• Collaborate and consult with designers and in-house design team on all stages of development from design selections, scale, color selections, color matching and strike offs.
• Prepare design files and instructions to send to mills for development.
• Communicate with mills on design approvals and/or revisions, strike-off developments and color revisions.
• Maintain design file organization internally.
• Manage and maintain project deadlines.
• In house art design and ability to modify existing designs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 1-2 years previous experience minimum.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign skills.
• A keen eye for color, aesthetics and details.
• Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
• Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or other related field.
