The Moda booths at the Spring 2014 International Quilt Market held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania were more than inspiring...quilts and designs in palettes sure to please every quilter could be found around every corner! The colors were fresh and fun with many different displays and ideas for using fabrics for quilts and home decor.
The Fig Tree booth area was a breath of fresh air with traditional and vintage designs presented in a beautiful setting. Quilts and accessories of all sizes featuring the upcoming Somerset collection gave viewers a delightful array of ideas to incorporate quilts and quilted goods into both shop displays and home decor.
Another breath of fresh air with classic design and beautiful color could be found in the booth of Sandy Gervais where quilts featured her upcoming Rambling Rose fabrics.
The central area was a flurry of activity with a variety of quilts displayed featuring new collections and designs.
Collections Community was stunning in a variety of different projects.
And of course the display of pre-market release fabrics in a variety of bundles was fun to see.
The Modern Building Blocks quilt was stunning!
New designer Amy Ellis beautifully displayed her Modern Neutrals collection.
And the classic beauty of blue and white could be found in this quilt featuring fabrics from Minick & Simpson's new collection Lexington.
Me & My Sister presented their fabulous and fun collection, LOL along with a variety of new ideas for creating with fabrics!
And April Rosenthal's Best. Day Ever. was brilliantly showcased with her modern designs.
Pedal Pushers by Lauren and Jessi Jung was another breath of fresh air with beautiful quilts, pillows and wall hangings showcasing the collection.
The Primitive Gatherings booth was another area full of inspiration in cotton and wool.
Edyta Sitar's new collection, Heart's Content, was beautifully displayed. Her stunning applique' and fresh designs accented the beautiful fabrics.
Zen Chic's modern collection Figures was absolutely breathtaking. Quilt displays were changed daily in the booth adding an extra element of interest each day.
And if you were in the mood for some holiday inspiration, Deb Strain presented a beautiful display of decor for the Christmas season.
Basic Grey's Persimmon really hit the mark with the fresh modern color combinations and beautiful graphic quilts.
Pat Sloan's One For You, One For Me! was displayed in both beautiful quilts and the very popular sewing machine wall hanging.
Sandy Klop of American Jane had a beautiful display of her signature fabrics and stunning designs.
Janet Clare also had a beautiful display to present Field Study, a gorgeous collection of fabrics.
From bright modern fabrics to neutral designs and palettes to stunning colors and prints...there are a variety of upcoming Moda collections sure to please .With so many amazing Moda fabrics introduced and displayed at market, there will definitely be plenty of choices for quilters to create with Moda fabrics. The hardest part for most will be deciding which collection to work with first!
