If you're having fun sewing pouches with us this weekend, we've got another pouch sew-along to tell you about!
Join Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts (@jaybirdquilts) & Lazy Girl Designs for her next sew-along featuring her Sweetpea Pods pattern, kicking off this week on August 22. Sweetpeas hold your treasures like peas in a pod. Pods zip closed for secure storage and open wide for easy access, and they're great for stowing little things or tucking into small spaces.
Put those layer cake squares to use! Two 10" squares yield two Sweetpea Pods! During the sew-along, Julie will guide you through Lazy Girl's One-Zip technique: cut your zipper to pieces, sew one side in straight and flat, then use Joan Hawley’s easy Pull-On trick to put the zipper pull back on to make this precious pod.
