(2) 1½” x 11½” strips
(2) 1½” x 12½” strips
(12) 1⅞” squares

FABRIC B
(4) 4½” squares
(8) 1⅞” squares

FABRIC C
(4) 2½” squares

FABRIC D
(4) 2½” squares

FABRIC E
(1) 2½” square

INSTRUCTIONS

MAKE PETALS

Mark a diagonal pencil line on the wrong side of each Fabric A 1⅞” square. Line up with the corner of Fabric B 4½” squares . Sew on the marked line. Trim ¼” away from the sewn line and press. Repeat on two adjacent corners.

MAKE LEAVES

Make leaves using the Easy Corner Triangles (ECTs) method - Mark a diagonal pencil line on the wrong side of each Fabric B 1⅞” square. Match up to one corner of Fabric C 2½” square as shown. Sew on the pencil line. Trim 1/4” away from the line and press. Repeat on the opposite side to create a point.
Trim each leaf unit to 2½” square.

ASSEMBLE LEAVES + FLOWER CENTER

Join leaf units with 2½” Fabric D squares as shown.
Make 4.

ASSEMBLE BLOCK

Join block units as shown. Trim to 12 1/2" square (unfinished size)
